We’ve literally been stuck at the office all week, and I was so busy hanging out with the kids that I didn’t break out my camera until last night. I was taking some “snapshots” while they were playing UNO. And then I realized my son turned 13 a couple of weeks ago, and I hadn’t yet taken any “13-year-old” portraits, so we went outside about 8p (the lighting was gorgeous), and snapped a few of him. These two images are my favorite out of the 50 or so I took. And while I know the one of Sis isn’t entirely in focus, I just love it! Her smile and laugh are both so infectious!

Both images taken on my D700. On the first image I used my 35mm f/2, and the second image I used my 85mm f/1.8.
