Recently I signed up to do a month-long photo class for iPhone users for $5 on the PhotoJojo website! I know, it sounds kind of silly, but I knew it would be fun! The assignments for week one were harder than I would’ve thought. The first one was to take a “double-exposed” HDR image by shaking my iPhone while snapping the picture. That’s very hard to do on a bright day! The second challenge was to take an image using the “rule of thirds” from a squirrel’s eye view! That was hard mostly because it’s hard for me to get on the ground! Hahaha! Anyway, here are my images from week one…

After a very long weekend of moving boxes, furniture, and other sorts, we are finally getting settled into our new home! We are so happy! This is such a comfortable house, it’s like a perfect fit for us! We still have many boxes to go through in our garage, but I’m glad we are finally here!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to fly to South Carolina to help out at a photography workshop (more on that later). I had such a great time, and made some awesome new friends!! It was so beautiful there, I totally could’ve stayed!

We’ve had some visitors on our property for the last 3 weeks. 8 beautiful Percherons from the Shinn Ranch! The kids have been having a blast feeding them carrots and talking to them through the fence. They are grazing the back part of our storage property! I have never seen such big (and super friendly) horses!

I had grand intentions of getting some really great pictures from my big camera, but never had the time, so these are just little snappies from my iPhone 4s. Enjoy!
