I got my big camera and Lensbaby out this morning to snap some images for another project I am working on this week, and went out to chat with the horses. My only mistake was that I forgot to take the carrots out with me! They saw me coming and immediately came over to the fence where I was standing. Since they don’t really know me, I decided not to go through the gate onto their side of the fence, so these images are shot through the chain link.  Anyway, enjoy a few more images of the Shinn Ranch Percherons!

Yesterday was an unusually slow day at the office, so I decided to grab my camera and go outside. But I didn’t want to take just any picture, so I popped my Lensbaby Composer (with the double-glass optic and a custom creative aperture disc to create the butterfly bokeh) onto my D700, and outside I went. We do have some amazingly beautiful landscaping at our little storage facility, and the Spring colors are starting to show themselves! Enjoy!

I dusted off the ol’ Lensbaby Composer today! It’s been a while since I have played around with it. I am by no means a master at using it, but I certainly like to try! The next Lensbaby that I would like to get is the Scout with the fisheye optic! Anyway, with the rain, and the kids at school, my choice of subject matter was very limited! So, this is what I played around with! I processed these using a preset from the Olive Juice Shop, and a tiny bit in CS5 to get it web-ready!
